Last minute headsup – tonight is the indie rock party of the month in downtown Berlin – it’s Basement Bash at Urban Spree, slap bang on the Warschauer Strasse end of the RAW Gelände perched between Kreuzberg and Friedrichshain, where all the cool kids go and all the cool things happen….kind of….I think. There are some drug dealers too, so you know, you’re covered either way 🙂
But that’s not the thing. What is the thing is the dream line-up of Dream Boogie (see how I did that?:)), the beguiling depths of La Laguna and of course the insane frenzy of Drahla. Kicking off at 8pm and going through til way after midnight, Basement Bash – happening at Urban Spree each month – is the indie rock party, where all the coolest new bands and the hippest established bands meet to change metaphorical blows.

Have you ever wondered what glitter tastes like? When the band met on the hedonistic streets of Berlin they had an idea. The idea to make something out of nothing. The idea to change the Grey Winter into a blossoming Jelly-fish garden.
